Fright Nights 2020

Fright Night dates: 

9th – 11th October & 16th October – 1st November 2020.

Fright Night packages include:

  • An overnight stay in the Thorpe Shark Cabin or a nearby hotel.
  • 2nd Day FREE entry* into Thorpe Park Resort.
  • A delicious breakfast.
  • Free car parking for Shark Cabin Guests. 

Entry information*:

  • If you have booked a ticket and hotel package will receive a 2-day pass into the Theme Park and will include our Fright Night Event. Please be aware if you are staying on the 8th, 11th, & 15th of October that our Fright Night Event will only be available for one day of your stay.
  • If you are staying on the 1st November you will receive a 1-day Theme Park pass due to the Theme Park being closed on the 2nd November.
  • If you have booked under a bed & breakfast package your Theme Park tickets will not be included, please purchase Theme Park before arriving at the Resort. 
  • If you have booked using a Merlin Annual or Season Pass, please see the restrictions below on Theme Park entry, alternately, please refer to your pass terms and conditions on date restrictions. 

Fright Night Mazes:

Roots Of Evil

  • NEW for 2020 - Roots Of Evil. Unearth the horrors that lurk within a forsaken forest and prepare to meet the terrifying abominations that dwell within. Move discreetly through the dark undergrowth and pray your presence goes unnoticed, or risk becoming one of the forgotten forever. 

Platform 15 

  • Depart on a one-way ticket and trek along the overgrown railway line, the last known route of the vanished locomotive - the notorious Sleeper Express. Don’t lose your tracks and risk disturbing the haunted souls that were once aboard, or you may just experience the same chilling fate. Can you outrun what lies at the end of the line or will your journey terminate here, at Platform 15?
Important Fright Night Maze Information:
  • Our two scare mazes ‘Platform 15’ and ‘Roots of Evil’ require an additional paid ticket and are not included in our Shortbreak Packages or Day Tickets.
  • If you are wanting to experience one of our Fright Night Mazes we strongly recommend purchasing a maze ticket in advance by following links; Roots Of Evil & Platform 15
  • Merlin Annual Pass Maze tickets can be purchased for  £9.00 per maze, per person. by the following link Merlin Annual Pass Maze Tickets
  • You must wear a face mask/covering in most indoor spaces, mazes and rides. We also strongly recommend wearing a face mask/covering in any scare zones.
  • The following experiences are wheelchair accessible and do not require queuing or a Ride Access Pass; The Howling of LycanThorpe High, Creak Freaks: Unchained, THE SWARM: INVASION, The Crows, The FEARSTIVAL Arena and Terror at Amity High – High School Sucks! Screamplexx Cinema is wheelchair accessible, access via gate to the left of the green entrance doors. Due to the nature of the outdoor terrain Platform 15 and Roots Of Evil and are not wheelchair accessible.  
Merlin Annual & Season Pass Information:

Standard Season Pass Holders:

  • THORPE PARK Season Passes are valid until the 1st November 2020 with the following exclusion dates: 31st July, plus Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in August and all FRIGHT NIGHTS dates. But great news! During these exclusion dates, a discounted ticket will be available for our pass holders from just £10.

Premium Season Pass Holders:

  • THORPE PARK Premium Season Pass entitles the holder to admission to THORPE PARK Resort only from the date of issue until Sunday 1st November 2020 on all days the Resort is open, excluding 10th October and 17th October to 1st November 2020 dates. 

 Merlin Annual Pass Holders:

  • If you're a Standard Merlin Annual Pass and staying at our Thorpe Shark Cabins or at one of our partner hotels, you will need to purchase a Fright Night event ticket by visiting our ticket information page. 
  • If you're a Premium Merlin Annual Pass holder you can enter subject to capacity or alternatively can purchase a ticket to guarantee entry.

 Important Information:

  • Please note that this event may be too intense for young children and is not recommended for anyone under the age of 13.
  • If you're visiting Thorpe Park for the day, restrictions apply for Merlin Annual and Season Pass Holders, we highly recommend visiting our day visitor Help Centre.
